The importance of body shape:
The Neptune, borrowing from Patrick James Eggle’s original ‘Saluda’ body shape, is categorized as a 'baby-jumbo' model. With a width of 16” across the lower bout, it falls slightly short of the full 17” Jumbo model, but still embodies much of the power and presence associated with jumbos but without being as cumbersome. Here, in its non-cutaway form, the Neptune stands as a genuine, full-bodied powerhouse.

Which tonewoods are used and why?
The Naked Neptune showcases a solid Engelmann Spruce top paired with solid Indonesian Mahogany back and sides, both adorned with a gentle satin sheen. The primary benefit of this satin finish is its capacity to allow the all-solid tonewood to flex and resonate unrestricted by heavy layers of lacquer. This liberates the guitar to produce a vibrant, dynamic, and continuously evolving tone, while the body proudly bears the imprints of each musical journey.

How does it all come together?
For many decades, the pairing of Spruce and Mahogany has stood as a go-to recipe for acoustic guitars, and rightfully so. The vibrant, resonant qualities of Spruce are complemented by the warm, mellower tones of Mahogany. Staying true to its 'Naked' moniker, all the woods utilized in this guitar retain their natural colors and distinctive grain patterns.
Each Naked guitar also features a striped Ebony fingerboard, bridge and bridge pins too.

The Electronics:
This Naked Neptune Electro is equipped with a Fishman Presys 1 preamp system and an undersaddle piezo pickup strip. This elegant solution is super easy to use, with an easy-to-read built-in tuner, an EQ contour control, phase switch (to control any feedback on stage), and a volume knob.
The output jack is integrated into the strap button on the base of the guitar, with the battery compartment located separately for easy access.

The Gigbag:
Your new Faith Naked comes with a padded gig bag, equipped with handles, backstraps, and an accessory pocket for added convenience. Additionally, when your gigging demands require it, you have the option to upgrade to a hard case for added protection.
