Fishman Presys VT

Fishman Presys VT

A super-discreet system for when you want electronics, but don’t want to shout about it, the Presys VT pickup and preamp system comprises of the S-Core undersaddle pickup strip and the soundhole edge-mounted preamp panel. Equipped with Volume and Tone controls, this active preamp is powered via a 9-volt PP3 (square) battery stored in a special containment bag on the inside of the guitar. Output is via a 6.3mm (1/4”) jack socket located at the base of the guitar, which also doubles as a strap button. Battery life is approximately 100 hours.

Fishman Presys 1

Fishman’s Presys 1 onboard Preamp System gives maximum performance in a small, simple footprint. Mounted in the side of the guitar, the Presys 1 is paired with a pre-wired S-core undersaddle piezo pickup. The preamp has a bright, easy-to-use tuner as standard, a large ergonomic volume control, an EQ contour control (which sweeps across a preset EQ shape), and a phase button, which you can press in the event of amplifier feedback. The 6.35mm (1/4inch) jack output is mounted onto the bottom side of the guitar on a plate that has an integral battery box, designed for a PP3, 9-volt battery. The strap button is separate, mounted on the base of the guitar. Battery life is approximately 111 hours.

The 6.35mm (1/4inch) jack output is mounted onto the bottom side of the guitar on a plate that has an integral battery box, designed for a PP3, 9-volt battery. The strap button is separate, mounted on the base of the guitar. Battery life is approximately 111 hours.

Fishman INK3

Fishman INK3

Fishman’s INK3 onboard preamp offers a low-profile yet full-featured control surface that is a joy to use without detracting from the guitar’s aesthetic. Using the ultra-reliable S-core undersaddle pickup, the INK3 features a 3 band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble), a master volume control, and a very attractive ‘press to activate’ tuner with high-contrast screen. The battery compartment, output jack and regular strap button are all located centrally at the base of the guitar. We have yet to see any other electro-acoustic guitar system that has such an ingenious battery compartment that is so easy to use. Battery life is approximately 90 hours.

Fisherman Flex Blend

Fisherman Flex Blend

A truly excellent innovation from Fishman, the Flex Blend system mixes elegance and superb performance in an intuitive design. The system gets its name from a flexible combination of undersaddle piezo pickup and condenser mic. This pairing is a proven winner, favoured by professionals who wish to get a full range of tones from their guitar, and those who want clarity of percussive tones too. Featuring a small and unobtrusive footprint, the Flex Blend has three control knobs discreetly and directly mounted into the side of the guitar. These knurled knobs control the Volume, the EQ contour and the pickup Blend. There is also a built in tuner which is activated by pressing and holding the volume knob, with the clear readout being mounted into the guitar body in what would be the ‘fourth knob’ position. Flex Blend systems are supplied with an internal battery containment bag and 6.3mm (1/4”) Jack socket mounted a the base which doubles as a strap button. Battery life is approximately 80 hours.
