The importance of body shape:

The importance of body shape:

Inspired by Patrick James Eggle’s original ‘Saluda’ body design, the Neptune is categorized as a ‘baby-jumbo’ model. Measuring 16 inches across the lower bout, it’s somewhat more compact than a traditional 17-inch jumbo, yet it preserves much of the powerful sound and commanding presence associated with larger models. Presented here without a cutaway, the Neptune stands out as a robust, full-bodied instrument.
Which tonewoods are used and why?

Which tonewoods are used and why?

The Naked Neptune features an Engelmann Spruce top and Indonesian Mahogany back and sides, both crafted from all-solid wood and finished with a soft satin sheen. The satin finish's significant advantage lies in its ability to allow the all-solid tonewood to move and resonate more freely, unburdened by excessive layers of lacquer. This grants the guitar an exciting and continuously dynamic tone, with the body proudly displaying the marks of every musical endeavour.

How does it all come together?

How does it all come together?

The Spruce and Mahogany combo has long been a favoured acoustic guitar recipe, and for good reason too. The sonic and visual brightness of the Spruce is tamed a little by the more mellow, softwood tones of the mahogany. True to its ‘Naked’ name, all the woods used are left to show their original colours and grain patterns.

As with all Naked models, the Neptune is equipped with a figured Ebony Fingerboard, Bridge and Bridge Pins

I've always loved the look of the guitar, but the action was always a little high. After a proper set up 3 months ago it is now my favourite.

Lovely guitar, such a rich tone for a mahogany guitar, very nice :)

Well made guitar, has great tone and just the right amount of volume for me. Keeps tune well, I really have not needed to setup out of the box. A big thank you to Faith for making this simple no thrills but great guitar. StevieD

I love this guitar. It has a great tone, the strings keep in tune really well, and it plays and sounds like many, more expensive guiltars. I have had it 10 years now, and I wouldn't swap it for the world.
    Andrew Coombes -
So good I bought another Faith.
    Rod Weekes -

I love my Naked Neptune. Although I have many other guitars, this is the one I play every day. Hopefully shops will have some more blood moons in soon, desperate to buy one, but they're a bit thin on the ground at the moment!

Absolutely fantastic! I'm blown away by the user friendly neck profile and tone.
Played like a dream straight from the box.
A great british triumph, and hidden gem. I wish I had heard of Faith Guitars sooner.

I absolutely love it. I'm a beginner and thought I would get something smaller and cheaper while I am still learning to play. But the more I learned about how acoustic guitars are crafted, the more I wanted a Faith guitar. It was pure luck that I found a secondhand Faith within my budget. Even better, I bought it from a charity (https://www.rocknrollrescuecamden.com/).
