Faith Guitars x Just One Tree: Growing Something Good, One Guitar at a Time

Every guitar starts with a tree.

That’s something we never forget at Faith Guitars. While we’re passionate about tonewoods and craftsmanship, we’re also conscious that building guitars means using natural resources — and trees don’t grow overnight.

That’s why, when you buy guitars, we give a proportion of that sale to Just One Tree, a UK-based reforestation charity doing brilliantly practical work around the world. They plant trees and other vegetation where most needed, including in Indonesia, where our guitars are made and much of our tonewood is sourced. Their projects help create income for local communities, help to care for ecosystems, and – being trees – they absorb carbon from the atmosphere. This is all good stuff.

This isn't about preaching or trying to look virtuous. It's just a good, simple thing we can do — a bit of balance in return for what we take. Because trees really matter. They’re literally responsible for the air we breathe and the guitars we love. Two things that none of us want to be without.

So far, we’re pleased to say that the virtual Faith Guitars ‘Forest’ is at 6982 trees.

As the trees grow, they’ll absorb an estimated 2150 tonnes of CO₂, and just as importantly, they’ll help support real people in real places. And that’s a good thing.

JustOneTree's current forestation projects span across Indonesia, Brazil, Madagascar, Kenya, and even include kelp regeneration in the coastal waters of the Philippines and Australia - all aimed at ensuring biodiversity and caring for our environment.

From One Tree to One Guitar
