A darker expression of the Naked philosophy.
Faith Naked models have the very soul of the guitar exposed for all to hear and experience, but with this model the natural elements have been stained darker for a moodier aesthetic. Each instrument is beautiful in its simplicity and unadorned with cosmetic additions, and as such, it is more accessible to players of all levels.

The importance of body shape:
Derived from Patrick James Eggle’s original ‘Saluda’ body shape, we class the Neptune as a 'baby-jumbo'. Measuring 16” across the lower bout, the Neptune falls slightly short of a full 17” Jumbo model but maintains much of the power and presence associated with jumbos but without the physical heft. Offered here in its non-cutaway version, the Neptune stands as a genuine full-bodied powerhouse.

Which tonewoods are used and why?
The Naked Neptune Black Stain features an Engelmann Spruce top and Indonesian Mahogany back and sides, both crafted from all-solid wood and finished with a Black Stain with soft satin sheen. As the black stain is taken up by the differing tonewoods in different ways, the visual texture of the Spruce top will often be more varied than the mahogany on the back and sides, as this tonewood takes on stain more readily.
The satin finish's significant advantage lies in its ability to allow the all-solid tonewood to move and resonate more freely, unburdened by excessive layers of lacquer. This grants the guitar a lively, exhilarating, and ever-evolving tone, with the body proudly displaying the marks of every musical endeavour.

How does it all come together?

The Electronics:
The Naked Neptune comes fitted with a Fishman Presys 1 preamp system and an undersaddle piezo pickup strip. This sophisticated setup offers effortless operation, featuring a user-friendly built-in tuner, EQ contour control, phase switch for stage feedback management, and a convenient volume knob.
The output jack is integrated into the strap button on the base of the guitar, with the battery compartment located separately for easy access.

The Gigbag:
Your new Faith Naked will be supplied with a padded gigbag complete with handles, backstraps and an accessory pocket. And, whenever your gigging schedule demands it, you can upgrade your gigbag to a hardcase too.
