Everyone loves a Dreadnought! Pioneered in the early 1900s in the USA, the dreadnought was the largest body option in its day. Designed to project effectively when played unamplified as part of the dance bands of the time, the dreadnought soon became the default shape that everyone associated with the ‘Acoustic Guitar’.

The importance of body shape:
The Faith Saturn is our version of the traditional square-shouldered dreadnought shape, delivering all the aesthetic and tonal features that you would expect: A comfortable and natural-feeling contour with superb all-round sonic projection.
Which tonewoods are used and why?
The Saturn HiGloss model features premium quality Solid Engelmann Spruce for the top soundboard; whilst on the back and sides, the beautifully figured, 3-piece Indonesian Rosewood is bound in Flamed Maple to the front and back; and for the fingerboard, bridge, headplate, and heelcap you’ll find our favourite premium hardwood, Indonesian Ebony.
How does it all come together?
The pairing of Spruce and Rosewood tonewoods has been popular for decades as together they produce a that classic tone with sparkling highs, rich bass notes and fabulous articulation across the spectrum. This tone is further enhanced by the physical dimensions of the Saturn Dreadnought shape, designed as it was for excellent projection and volume when unplugged.
The Electronics:
When you are ready to amplify your Saturn, under the saddle of this FSCEHG3 you'll find a Fishman S-core piezo pickup, which is part of the Fishman INK3 preamp system. The near flush-mounted preamp has a chromatic tuner, a three-band EQ, and a volume knob and the output socket is cleverly built into the bottom of the instrument, making it extremely easy to change the battery.
The Case:
To ensure that your beautiful new instrument is well protected and cared for, your guitar is complete with a woodshell hardcase, with padded plush interior. We recommend that you keep your guitar in the hardcase whenever not in use.
