A really fantastic guitar, superbly made and beautiful to look at. Everything about this guitar (sound quality, construction, finish, solid woods, parts used, ease of use) is way above the expected quality for the price (also, the "scoop" is a truly great idea - I wondered how much it difference it would make, and the answer is "a lot") - seriously, this easily competes with guitars at twice it's cost of purchase. Setup on arrival was perfect also - thanks for that, a nice touch that is always appreciated.
Construction is very solid and I have high hopes that it will last a lifetime of use - really looking forward to how it will sound in 20 years! Thanks Faith, great guitar. "

"The outside finish is very good on the whole, a little messy where the fretboard lies on the body. Sounds beautiful feels solid like a German car. The inside finishing is quite poor with poor joints and excessive glue. Disappointing as I had purchased on the understanding faith guitars were finished really well. "

"I love the sound of this guitar - however it isn't quite there yet (even at 700pounds). The intonation is slightly sharp at the higher notes - I'm guessing this is due to the action being slightly high - which I will tend to in due course. Checked the neck with a fret rocker and there are a few high frets - I'm being picky though because of the cost. "

The Faith Mercury is small and beautiful, it's made out of solid rosewood en spruce which result in a very warm, loud but controlled sound. This guitar is ringing and singing. "I am 64 and have played many guitars in the last 40-odd years. Never before have I seen such finish and quality straight out of the box (beautifully packed by music scotland by the way). On changing the strings for my favourite Elixir strings I came across my only slight problem.The lovely ebony bridge pins are too loose and the inner ends are not tapered as they should be, with the consequence that they pop out too readily.<br />
As for the sound and playability, it is absolutely wonderful and although I did my research before buying I was nervous still. I needn't have been. Thank you Faith - nice work.<br />
